Nassau YRs Host Sixth Annual Freedom Gala and Awards Dinner

Chairman Mondello and Other Distinguished Republicans Honored

The Nassau County Young Republicans hosted their Sixth Annual Freedom Gala & Awards Dinner on Thursday, June 25, 2009.  Held at the Milleridge Inn, the event honored distinguished leaders within the Republican party including New York Republican State Committee Chairman Joseph N. Mondello, Legislator John J. Ciotti, Assemblyman David G. McDonough, and YR Treasurer Michael W. Cucinotta.

“This year’s Freedom Gala proved to be a huge success,” said Nassau YR President Simon Spero.  “The Young Republicans are proud to honor such hardworking and capable individuals, all of whom are dedicated and diligent members of the Republican Party.  Their significant efforts and achievements are deserving of our recognition .”

Nassau YR First Vice President of Campaigns Lisa Giunta also expressed excitement over this year’s honorees.  “These Republicans set the standard for the rest of our party.  Their continuous commitment, effort, and passion toward the promotion of conservative ideals are something that we can all look up to and strive to achieve .

The Nassau County Young Republicans is a social organization open to all Republicans ages 14 to 40. If you are over the age of 18, you must be enrolled as a Republican in order to join.
